Jami Maine, the founder and owner of Julius Monroe Salon & Cosmetic Spa, believes family is what binds us, inspires us, and adds meaning and purpose to our lives.
When it came to choosing a name for the salon, she decided to go back through her own family history and found inspiration from her great-grandfather, Julius Siemers, and her great uncle, Monroe Colvin.
Jami had a very special bond with her great uncle Monroe, who was a warm-hearted person that believed in helping others. He owned a barbershop and gave Jami the inspiration and confidence to follow in his footsteps and open her own salon.
Her great-grandfather, Julius, passed away before she was born. However, the stories Jami heard about him throughout her childhood have inspired her growing up. He was a role model and a man whose legacy was that of a humble, loving man who selflessly served God, his family, and the community.
Julius Monroe Salon & Cosmetic Spa is named in honor of Jami's family and family is what truly matters.
